Price Comparison Methodology

Comparisons.cc compares product offers by normalizing each product into a list of current retailer offers. The best price shown for a product is the cheapest in-stock offer available from connected feeds.

How best price is selected

Each offer includes retailer name, current price, previous or comparison price, offer URL, trust score, stock status, and update time. In-stock offers are sorted by current price, then retailer trust.

How filters work

Max-price filters, lowest-price sorting, savings, and comparison tables use the current best offer. They do not use a hardcoded product display price.

Coverage

The site compares every offer it receives from connected product and retailer feeds. Complete coverage across every store requires approved affiliate, retailer, or shopping APIs with product identifiers such as GTIN, UPC, EAN, MPN, brand, and model.
